Crown Prince of Mortanska, 29 and
actor Moody
St James, 24, will make a 24-hour
flying visit to Japan to promote their TV
hit Desperate
Househusbands, which has just
begun airing on national broadcaster NHK.
Executive producer and star will
attend a one hour press conference in
Tokyo, followed by lunch with several NHK
head honchos. "I'm thrilled to be
visiting Japan again. I was last in the
country in 1998. It's a shame this will be
such a short visit. I'm just so busy
sometimes I can't even go to the toilet!"

Russian
beauty Olga
Stefanovovich,
51, has turned downed an offer to appear
nude in Iran's Naughty Housewives
Pictorial, the incredibly popular
men's monthly magazine, says her
publicist. "While Ms Stefanovovich
is flattered that the magazine editors
considered featuring a 51-year-old in
their bumper January 2006 issue, Ms
Stefanovovich must decline because she
does not do nudity and never will."
Magazine editor Mahout Habib expressed his
disappointment in not securing
Stefanovovich for next year's issue by
jumping in front of a cross town bus.

Aussie Raeleen
Smithwick, 50, whose life came up
trumps when she won Australian Idle 2
in 2004 is back with ex-husband Howard Yalaikascroo, the
mega-talented U.N. mine sweeper extraordinaire. "The
sparks are flying again; it's palpable,"
said Shirley Yalaikascroo-Now, 35, eldest of the couple's
ten children, in an exclusive telephone interview with Appalling
Trash. "As you know, Mum and
Dad divorced in 1975, so it's really
special when you think about it. I saw
them last week, just before they left [for
their Caribbean cruise]. They seemed so
happy. I hope there's a lot of sex on the
cruise!"

Outrageous and true, Dahlings!
A close personal source has whispered in my ear
that an unauthorised biography of 50s movie
starlet Julee Carrington is being peddled
to publishing houses in New York. As you probably
remember, the ravishing Julee made two promising,
albeit financially lacklustre, Drive-in films
before disappearing under mysterious circumstances
off the coast of Baja California in 1958. Ms Carrington was
notorious for her numerous affairettes with
assorted Hollywood well hung luminaries: read
Olympic boxer Charlie "Big boy"
Ferrelli, fellow actor Buddy Thrush and Lady-Fresh®
Sanitation heir Conrad Hyde-Whapper. But it was
being caught in the buff on the
poop deck of Hyde-Whapper's 500-foot yacht Loose
Lips that got the glamorous starlet plastered
over newsstands from Heinzville to La Paz. Julee's
nubile body was never recovered but her soggy
diaphragm and whip were found days later washed up
at Pervert Point, California. Ms Carrington's star
though has never waned and her story is still hot,
hot, hot after all these decades. Her two most
famous films Tickle my Tonsils (1956) and Truck
Stop Love (1957) have just been released on
DVD - and who can forget the 1984 telemovie shlep-fest starring Estelle Tunkley as Julee's
domineering ex-vaudeville mother Roberta? Loved
that maternal screech, Estelle: "Julee, you
%$#*@ bitch, get ya tush down here NOW!" The
publishing houses I have approached for comment
this week are remaining tight lipped, as you can
imagine, and Julee's estate has long rejected
offers for a biography of her short-lived career.
Could be though that very soon we'll get to read
some more explosive tidbits about
a career that never really was. Stay tuned and ...
stay glamorous!
