Is
Bea Arthur Considering a TV Reunion?
Energetic
former Golden
Girls star Beatrice
Arthur, 81, is considering the idea of reuniting
with her former TV co-stars for a one-off TV-movie special.
The details are quite sketchy at present, but a source close to
Arthur says, "Bea is considering a few TV and stage
projects. One of these projects may very well be a
TV-movie reunion with her former co-stars". If
Arthur, a veteran Broadway star, star of hit TV shows, and vocal
animal activist, does go ahead with her TV-movie, she'll reunite
with Amanda's co-stars Simone Griffeth, Fred McCarren,
and Tony Rosato. |

St
John Set to Shock in Picasso film
Sprightly
Canadian actress, Myrtle
St John, 99, has shocked Hollywood by agreeing to
star in the graphic Lusting After Picasso, currently in
pre-production. The film, which is to be based on the
stage production of the same name, has attracted considerable
critical attention, but most talk of the film has been negative.
"I'm an actress," stated St John matter-of-factly to
Appalling Trash, "and I believe in the truth and message of
this film." And what does St John have to say about
the numerous sex scenes in the film? "I'm looking
forward to playing Mary Ellen, warts and all." The
film is set for international release in summer 2005.

Sweeney's
Revelations Inspire Film
Sweeney
Diplick, 54, the midget circus artiste and
occasional actor whose revelations of lifelong drunkenness and
Jane Seymour fan club addiction hit the headlines late last year,
has inspired a film a la 1997's In & Out (which was
inspired by Tom Hanks' speech at the Academy Awards).
Danny DeVito, who is attached to the project as both star and
director, says, "Sweeney's life is perfect film material.
If only he'd killed a few people along the way, we might have
had an even more interesting story to play with."

Petral
Heats Up Petrol Sales
Saucy
Italian soap star Petral
Velomini, 36, has signed a contract to advertise
Acme Petroleum in print ads for the next four years. The
advertisements were filmed early in 2004, and will appear in
magazines beginning next month. Environmentalists are
outraged that Velomini has decided to advertise fossil fuels,
while Family Association chairman, Aym Prewdish, has denounced
the scantily-clad shots of Velomini straddling a petrol pump as
"blatantly sexual, detestably rotten images by a company
that has absolutely no moral fibre." Velomini, who is
busy filming a movie in Tunisia, has yet to respond to the
criticism.

Van der Spak Goes Nude
Hunky Sean
van der Spak, 22, flashed his considerable assets
inadvertently at a clothing store on Hollywood Boulevard last
week. Onlookers were shocked and amazed when Cireola
Dubios' muscle-bound beau accidentally stripped off his
boxers while trying on some jeans. One onlooker cooed,
"He's all man. And I mean, all man!", while
another commented on van der Spak's choice of underwear.
"He was wearing French lace knickers. It was quite
disturbing."
