MORE FACTS

Was, for a time, Moody St James' closest confidant (and showering companion). The friendship soured when D'Alpuget refused St James' request of a full body wax and massage. Foul language was exchanged, and in the heat of the battle St James managed to pelt a curling iron at D'Alpuget's temple, leaving a scar which, to this day, is clearly visible (when he's not wearing a ton of makeup)

Despite persistent rumours about his sexuality, D'Alpuget has so far refused to comment on his sexual orientation

Is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Zulu

Is currently developing a talk show called "The Jean-Pierre Show" which will be similar in tone and content to "The Orpah Winfree Show"

D'Alpuget's hit show "Jean-Pierre" is currently broadcast in 120 countries

Though uncredited, D'Alpuget had a blink-and-you'd-miss-him role in 1982's hit Dustin Hoffman film, Tootsie

Entered the record books as the only hair and makeup stylist in the world to ever climb Mount Everest in a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps with gilded straps

D'Alpuget's sister is world-renowned toilet bowl designer, Marie Ferrier

Owns three homes: a stylish Mediterranean-style villa in his hometown Grasse, a New York penthouse and a 1200-acre sheep station in Northern Queensland, Australia

SALARY
"Jean-Pierre" (2000) $100,000 per episode
